Lagerwey will supply two L100 2.5MW turbines to the Goeiende project next to the E17 motorway in near Zele. It is due online by the end of the year.
The contract marks the manufacturer's first foray in to the Belgian market.
According to utility co-operative Wase Wind, the electricity from the turbines will be used to power local businesses and homes.
"It is also possible for cooperative members to participate financially in the wind farm. For instance, a dividend of 5.5% has been paid in recent years", said Wase Wind Chairman Kris Aper.
