Vestas will supply and commission the V126-3.45MW turbines, together with a 20-year service agreement.
Turbine deliveries are scheduled to begin later this year with project commissioning expected in 2018.
"This order further expands our 4MW footprint in North America, reaffirming both the versatility and proven ability of our platforms to deliver low-cost, reliable wind energy," said Chris Brown, Vestas’ North American CEO.
The V126-3.45MW turbine is not listed among the Vestas turbines that GE claims are in breach of its zero voltage ride through (ZVRT) technology.
