The blade manufacturer, now part of GE Renewable Energy, expects construction to start in July with up to 500 jobs being created.
"The Baodi site is a great location for serving our local and global customers in China, with close proximity to the highway and only 50km to Tianjin Port," said LM chief executive Marc de Jong.
LM first set up a manufacturing base in China in 2001, and now employs 2,300 people in the country spread across three blade-making facilities in Tianjin, Qin Huang Dao and Jiangyin. It also has offices in Beijing and Shanghai.
