Iberdrola has ordered 84 Gamesa G114 2.625MW turbines for the 220.5MW Pier IV project in Puebla, south of Mexico City in central Mexico.
Delivery is expected in early 2018, with project completion due by March 2019, the Spanish manufacturer said.
For the second order, Iberdrola has requested 50 G114-2.1MW turbines for the Sentiago Eolico project in Guanajuato, north of Mexico City, central Mexico.
These turbines will be delivered and installed by the end of 2018, with the project expected online in April 2019.
Gamesa has previously supplied 360MW worth of turbines to Iberdrola in Mexico, the manufacturer said.
