The Mt Gellibrand project is being developed by Acciona Energia's Australian subsidiary after obtaining rights for the project from the state government in July 2016.
The Victoria government said it would buy renewable energy certificates for its electricity use.
When completed in 2018, the Mt Gellibrand project will use 22 AW125 3MW turbines. The deal will be counted as part of Nordex's 2016 order total.
It is the first order Nordex has won in Australia since its acquisition of the Acciona Windpower manufacturer in April 2016.
Mt Gellibrand will be Acciona's fourth Australian wind project, following the 192MW Waubra wind farm in Victoria, the 64MW Cathedral Rocks site in South Australia state, and the 46.5MW Gunning development in New South Wales.
