Trianel Borkum II
Vessel charter: Seaway Heavy Lifting has been contracted by Trianel Windkraftwerk Borkum II to install its project's foundations.
The work will be carried out in 2018 from the Stanislav Yudin vessel. The 203MW project is planned for a site in the North Sea, 45km north of Borkum. 25-Nov-16
East Anglia One
Foundations deal: Lamprell has been contraced to fabricate 60 steel foundation jackets for East Anglia One.
The Harland and Wolff facility in Belfast will deliver 24 of the jackets, while Lamprell's Jebel Ali and Sharjah yards in the UAE will also work on the contract. 25-Nov-16
Preparation work: Pre-construction works for East Anglia One are due to commence in January, with work starting along the 37km onshore cable route.
Iberdrola Engineering & Construction has been appointed to undertake engineering design and is the Principle Contractor for the pre-construction and construction works.
The 714MW North Sea project is being developed by Iberdrola subsidiary ScottishPower Renewables. 5-Dec-16
Vineyard Wind
Site survey: Fugro has been contracted to undertake a marine geotechnical site investigation for Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners' 1GW Vineyard Wind project, planned for a site off Massachusetts. 26-Nov-16
Wikinger
Turbine delivery: Adwen's 5MW turbine sets comprising nacelles, tower segments and rotor blades are being delivered to Sassnitz, the base port for Wikinger's construction.
Turbine installation at the 350MW Baltic Sea project is due to start in spring 2017. 27-Nov-16
Walney 1
Transmission servicing: UK-firm RES has been awarded a five year contract to provide O&M services to offshore transmission assets owned by Blue Transmission.
The assets serve Dong Energy's 183.6MW Walney 1 offshore wind project. 28-Nov-16
Hornsea Project One
Cable installation: DeepOcean has been contracted to transport and install some of the inter-array cables for Dong Energy's 1.2GW Hornsea Project One.
The project is being developed in the North Sea, 120km off, east England. 30-Nov-16
EOWDC
Port lease: Vattenfall, the developer of the European Offshore Wind Deployment Centre (EOWDC), has signed leases totalling 24 years with Aberdeen Harbour Board.
It will establish EOWDC's construction base shortly and also move into a warehouse unit. The facilities will support the construction, commissioning, operations and maintenance (O&M) of the 92.4MW demonstration project in Aberdeen Bay. 30-Nov-16
Dalian
Project approval: China General Nuclear's 300MW Dalian project received final approval in November, from the Fujian Development and Reform Commission. It is planned for a site off Fujian, east China. 1-Dec-16
Blyth
Base office: EDF Energy Renewables has opened a project office in Blyth, Northumberland, from where it will manage the construction of its 41.5MW offshore wind demonstration project.
The five V164-8MW turbines, power optimised to 8.3MW each, will be installed in 2017. 7-Dec-16
Race Bank
Monopiles installed: Offshore construction at Race Bank is proceeding ahead of schedule. All 91 monopiles have been installed, as has the first offshore substation.
All three sections of the first offshore export cable have also been laid and before the end of the year, connection to the onshore cable will be made.
Turbine installation at the 580MW development is due to commence in 2017. 8-Dec-16
