Among these, Vestas was awarded its first contract for the recently unveiled V136-3.45MW turbine by Finnish energy firm EPV Tuulivoima Oy.
The Danish manufacturer will deliver the new turbines to the 117MW Metsala project in Vaasa, west Finland. Delivery is expected in 2017.
Windpower Monthly exclusively unveiled the new Vestas turbine in September, at the start of the Husum Wind 2015 event in Germany.
EPV Tuulivoima Oy managing director Frans Liski said: "We are proud to install our biggest onshore wind park and place the first order for Vestas' new V136-3.45MW turbine. We have chosen the V136-3.45MW as it will deliver increased energy output and thus provides us an optimal choice within the Metsala project site constraints".
Vestas' largest deal of the week, however, came in the US from developer RES. RES has placed a 198MW order for the supply of 60 V117-3.3MW turbines to the Bluestem project in Oklahoma. Commissioning of the project is expected by the end of 2016.
Elsewhere, Vestas won a 50MW order from regular customer Hanas Group for 25 V110-2MW turbines for the Wanglejing Sunjualou project in north-west China.
In November, Hanas placed a 200MW order with Vestas in China for two projects in Inner Mongolia.
The V110-2MW turbine was also ordered by an unnamed customer in Brazil, where Vestas won a 90MW deal there.
South Korean construction firm Hanwha E&C has awarded a 76MW deal to Vestas for the YEP project in eastern South Korea. Vestas will suppy 22 V112-3.45MW turbines to the YEP site, which is Hanwha's first wind project.
Vestas' head of Pan-Asia, Danny Nielsen, said: "The project is our third order in South Korea in 2015 and demonstrates our ability to provide competitive cost of energy anywhere the wind conditions allow."
Finally, Vestas won a 40MW deal from Greek wind developer Elliniki Technodomiki Anemos for the Lyrikio wind project. Vestas will supply its V112-3.3MW model to the site in 2016.
