Kriegers Flak
Tender details: The Danish Energy Agency has published the preliminary tender conditions for Kriegers Flak.
The final tender conditions are expected to be published after negotiations are completed in spring 2016.
Planned for a site in the Baltic Sea, the 600MW is set to become Denmark's largest offshore wind farm.
It should be operational before the end of 2021.
Seven companies and consortiums were shortlisted by the Danish government to build the delayed project. 23-Nov-15
Baltyk Srodkowy III
Assessment comments: Public consultation on the environmental impact assessment (EIA) procedure for Baltyk Srodkowy III is due to take place between 1 and 21 December.
The project is being developed by Polenergia, the energy arm of private equity firm Kulczyk Investments.
Planned for a site in the Baltic Sea, the 600MW project would become Poland's first offshore wind farm. 24-Nov-15
Veja Mate
Project protection: EMS Maritime Offshore will guard the Veja Mate project site during the construction phase.
From January 2016, it will provide a vessel from which the risks of collision or unauthorised access by non-project-related traffic will be evaluated.
The 402MW project is being developed in the North Sea, to the north of the island of Borkum.
Siemens will supply 67 6MW turbines to the site, 129 kilometres off the German coast, and provide servicing for 15 years. Siemens was named as preferred supplier for the project in March. 26-Nov-15
Hywind Scotland
Enginereeing firm MacGregor, part of cargo handling company Cargotec, is to supply substructure connection mooring systems to Statoil's Hywind Scotland pilot project.
Due for delivery between Q2 and Q4 2016, the substrucutres will be installed at the 30MW floating project site off north-east Scotland.
The project's five turbines will be installed the following year.
Siemens has won the turbine contract for the project and will supply its 6MW turbine. 27-Nov-15
