Vestas will supply 51 V100 2MW and 30 V117 3.3MW turbines to the undisclosed site in the second half of 2016.
The deal includes a three-year servicing contract.
In July, Vestas won a 150MW from EDF Renewable Energy for the Salt Fork project in Texas. Vestas was contracted to supply 75 V100 2MW turbines t the site in Donley and Gray counties, north Texas.
Acciona Windpower has also been awarded a 30MW deal by Building Energy for a project in Iowa.
Acciona will deliver ten AW125/3000 3MW turbines to the site and service them for ten years. It is expected to be online by November 2016.
Building Energy is an Italy-based independent renewable energy power producer with a global pipeline of approximately 2GW, according to the company's website. The Iowa project will be the company's first wind site in the US.
At the start of October, German manufacturer Nordex announced it would acquire Acciona Windpower from the Acciona Group in a €785 million deal.
As part of the deal, the Acciona group will become Nordex's reference shareholder with a 29.9% stake.
The conclusion of the merger is expected by March 2016.
