Total operational revenues in January-September amounted to CNY 18.54 billion ($2.9 billion), up 74.61% on a year earlier.

The growth came largely from an increase in wind turbines sales and growing capacity of wind farms wholly or partly owned by Goldwind, which generated more electricity, the listed company said in its stock market disclosure report.

Up to 30 September, Goldwind received a total of 7.3GW of wind turbine orders, ranging from 3MW to 750MW.

In addition, the company has 4GW of orders it has won through tendering but for which contracts are yet to be signed. This drives up the total backlog of orders to around 11.32GW.

In 2014, Goldwind recorded net profits of CNY 1.83 billion, which represented a 328% increase on the previous year.
