Energy Absolute places 126MW Thailand order with Vestas

THAILAND: Vestas has won a 126MW deal from Thai renewable energy developer Energy Absolute.

Vestas' V110 1.8MW turbine will be installed at the site in southeast Thailand

Vestas will supply, help to install and commission 70 V110-1.8MW turbines to the Had Kanghan site in southeast Thailand.

Delivery and project completion is expected in early 2016, and Vestas will service the turbines for five years.

The project will be Energy Absolute's first wind project to join its solar and biodiesel portfolio.

According to Windpower Intelligence, the research and data division of Windpower Monthly, Thailand had 223MW of installed wind capacity at the end of September.
