Jan De Nul will be responsible for the installation of 51 monopile foundations and 50 wind turbines. The final monopile will support the project's offshore substation.
The firm said it was the first contract for its new jack up vessel Vidar. Construction work will begin in April 2016, with completion in 2017. The project is being developed by the Nobelwind NV consortium.
The Nobelwind project has also been known as Belwind II or Bligh Bank II. The 165MW project off Belgium will use MHI-Vestas' V112-3.3MW turbines.
It is located 45 kilometers from the coast, in the North Sea, and will sit beside Belwind I, which was completed in 2010.
In June, Bladt Industries and Semco Maritime were awarded the contract to supply the offshore substation to the project.
