Vestas wins 72MW deal in United States

UNITED STATES: Vestas has secured an order for a 72MW project in United States from RPM Access.

The project will use Vestas V110 2MW turbines
The project will use Vestas V110 2MW turbines

The contract is for 36 V110 2MW low-wind turbines to go to the Marshall wind project in Kansas. According to Vestas, the development will be commissioned in first half of 2016.

The deal includes a 20-year service agreement.

According to Windpower Monthly's data division, Windpower Intelligence, Vestas has installed around 700MW in Kansas including the 100MW Smoky Hills I project.
