EDF EN Services Belgium will provide services to EDF's and third-party wind and solar projects. It will be based in Liege, east Belgium.
The company's Belgian subsidiary EDF Luminus currently owns 10% of Belgium's renewable capacity, the firm said.
EDF-EN has service units in France, Greece, the UK, Germany, Poland and Italy, supporting 2GW of O&M activities.
In September, EDF signed a partnership deal providing technicians to support Romax Technology's O&M services in the US.
