Publications released over the last five years have been made available on the EI Knowledge Service.

EI said the service is designed to help reduce the risks and costs associated with offshore wind.

The Crown Estate is responsible for the UK's seabed, therefore it is regularly investigating the offshore environment to help support the development of projects.

Crown Estate's head of offshore wind, Huub den Rooijen, said it is important to support the industry with its reports.

He said: "By making the wealth of knowledge we develop available through the Knowledge Service we can help create a 'one-stop shop' for industry that more effectively shares best practice, avoids duplication and therefore helps to bring down costs and further unlock the potential of offshore wind over the long term."

The data is now available for free alongside some of the Energy Institutes findings.
