The manufacturer will install 11 of its V112-3.3MW turbines on the BMR Jamaica project in Saint Elizabeth Parish in the west of the Island.
Turbine delivery is planned for the third quarter of 2015, with commissioning expected in the first quarter of 2016. Once complete, the project is expected to be the largest wind development in Jamaica.
Vestas has previously installed the turbines on Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica's 18MW Wigton project near Manchester, Jamaica.
Earlier in January, Gamesa won a 24MW deal to install its G80 2MW turbines on a project in southern Jamaica.
BMR Energy is a subsidiary of private equity firm American Capital Energy and Infrastructure. It was established to develop energy projects in the Caribbean and Central America.
