The deal covers the construction of 32 monopiles and transition pieces by EEW and Bladt respectively.
A "high-proportion" of the transition pieces will be manufactured in the UK by Offshore Structures (Britain) – a joint venture set up by EEW and Bladt in November.
The joint venture took over a facility near Middlesbrough, north-east England, vacated by TAG Energy Solutions when it entered administration in October. It is the first order to be manufactured at the Teeside base.
Manufacturing is set to begin by August, with the project due online in 2017.
The remaining transition pieces will be made at Bladt's Aalborg facility in Denmark. EEW will manufacture the monopiles at its Rostock factory in Germany.
The monopiles will be used to support 32 MHI-Vestas V164-8MW turbines at the site.
