The turbines will go to two complexes, one in the state of Ceara (123.2MW) the other in Pernambuco (214.2MW).

In Ceara, GE will supply a total of 77, 1.6MW wind turbines - specifically the GE1.6-100 model- to four projects across the district of Tiangua, each at 30.8MW.

The projects are Santo Inacio, Santa Rosa, Sao Geraldo and Sao Sebastiao, according to data from Windpower Intelligence, all with a commissioning deadline of February 2016.

Casa dos Ventos, led by global investment firm Salus, acquired those projects last year from cash-strapped Agentinean turbine manufacture and developer Impsa.

In the state of Pernambuco, Casa dos Ventos will install 126, 1.7MW machines -the GE 1.7-103 model- at its Sao Clemente complex, an eight-phase project across the district of Caetes scheduled for completion January 2017.
