The two plants — Magdeburger Komponentenfertigung (MKF) and Magdeburger Generatorenfertigung (MGF) — will produce components for the E126, E101, E115 and the E82.
MKF will produce around 280 blades in 2015, while MGF will produce generators for the E101 and E115. MKF and MGF will employ 280 and 100 people respectively.
Magdeburg mayor Lutz Trümper and Enercon managing director Hans-Dieter Kettwig officially opened the factory today.
