The six projects will be made up of up to 200 turbines and be located on land owned by Tornator. The forestry company owns approximately 6,000 square kilometres of land in Finland.
In February, Tornator signed a deal with developer O2 to build projects on its land totaling 300-400MW in eastern and northern Finland.
Nordisk Vindkraft has built six projects, totaling 234MW, in Sweden including the 95.4MW Havsnas project. It came online in 2010 and uses 48 Vestas turbines.
The developer has a further 20 projects under development in Sweden and Norway. Next year, it is due to place the 144MW Sidensjo project in north Sweden online. It placed an order for 48 3MW Siemens turbines in May 2013.
