The £2.1-million vessel, designed by Global Marine, will be used by Iceni to service offshore wind projects in the UK.
It is expected to be delivered in the first quarter of 2015 from Alicat's facilities in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk in the east of England.
The vessel is based on a design already in service on two UK projects. It features a centre twin deck superstructure with forward and after cargo decks capable of carrying seven tonnes of equipment.
It is also fitted with twin MAN V12-1400 main engines and Rolls Royce FF550 water jets. The vessel can carry up to 12 technicians and three crew.
Iceni has already ordered two 22-metre catamarans from Alicat's sister company, South Boats. Both of these are also due for delivery in the first quarter, and have already been contracted to provide operations and maintenance services at offshore wind projects.
