Nordex wins 45MW Turkish order

TURKEY: Nordex has won a contract from Turkish construction firm Adali Holding to supply the turbines for a 45MW wind project in the country.

Nordex has won contracts to install 215MW in Turkey this year

Nordex will install 15 N117/3000 turbines at the Kiyikoy development near Tekirdag in north west Turkey. The deal also includes a ten-year operations and maintenance contract.

The manufacturer said the operator will be entitled to claim a higher feed-in tariff because the blades and towers will be produced in Turkey.

Adali is a Turkish conglomerate mainly active in construction. It currently operates hydropower and geothermal power stations, and has licences to construct 150MW of wind projects.

This year, Nordex has won contracts to supply 215MW to projects in Turkey.
