The 80 Siemens 3.6MW turbines were installed in August with full commissioning due to be completed early next year. Vattenfall will monitor the turbines from its centre in Esbjerg, on the west coast of Denmark.
DanTysk is located 70 kilometres from the German coast. It is being developed by Vattenfall in conjunction with German utility Stadtwerke Munchen.
The partnership is also developing the nearby 288MW Sandbank project, which is set to begin construction in 2015.
On the announcement of DanTysk's first exported power, new Vattenfall CEO Magnus Hall said the company would invest SEK 11 billion (EUR 1.2 billion) in wind projects over the next four years as it increases its focus on renewable energy.
