Eolien Maritime France is a joint venture formed of EDF Energies Nouvelles (EDF-EN), Dong Energy and wpd.

The first tender will be issued next week for foundation designs for the 478MW Fecamp project.

During the course of the winter, two further invites for the 450MW Courselles-sur-Mer and the 480MW St Nazaire projects will be issued.

Fecamp will use the prototype gravity-base foundation designed by Seatower. The foundation was due to be lowered into the water at the end of October and then towed to the site, 13 kilometres off France's northern coast.

A met mast has been installed on the foundation and is being tessted at Le Havre, harbour, northern France.
