Cole leads the development, supply chain, construction and operation and maintenance departments of Iberdrola's portfolio from its offshore wind headquarters in Glasgow.
The industry advisory group is made up of representatives from utilities, manufacturers, supply chain and marine organisations involved in the offshore wind industry. It helps the Ore Catapult identify the key areas where technological innovation and new approaches could bring down the costs associated with the industry.
The Ore Catapult is a UK-based technology innovation and research centre for offshore wind, wave and tidal energy.
Its projects include teaming up with eight major offshore operators to create a forum group aimed at driving down the costs of operations and maintenance for offshore projects.
In April, it announced that it would merge with the National Renewable Energy Centre (Narec) to form one development body in offshore wind and marine energy.
