Albenze takes Siemens wind servicing CEO job

UNITED STATES: Siemens has appointed Mark Albenze as its new CEO for the wind servicing division.

Mark Albenze was previously CEO for onshore wind in the Americas

He comes to the role from his previous position as CEO of Siemens Wind Power onshore business in the Americas.

Albenze joined Siemens in 1998 and has held various posts in business development, supply management and sales in the US and South America.

He takes over from Tim Holt, who Siemens said would be "taking over new responsibilities" at the company.

Albenze will take up the role immediately and will be based at the global headquarters for Siemens Power Generation Services in Orlando, Florida.

He will be lead a division that oversees the service and maintenance of around 7,600 wind turbines, with a combined capacity of around 18GW.
