E.on is also involved in offshore wind, usually as a partner, such as with Dong for 630MW London Array, and a consortium for 60MW Alpha Ventus. Rummler said this year that the company will follow the partnership route through more parts of the value chain, such as construction, and operation. The company demonstrated its build-and-sell strategy late last year by offloading its 80% stake in the Rodsand 2 Danish project.
