The Spanish manufacturer will supply its G87-2MW and G97-2MW turbines to the 40MW Ptoon and 42MW Maristi projects in central Greece.
A Greek subsidiary of Luxembourg-based renewable energy developer EREN is developing both projects. Ptoon will be made up of nine G87 turbines and 11 G97 machines, while Maristi will feature 21 of the G87 model.
On top of turbine installation, Gamesa will construct further infrastructure at both projects, including the electrical substations.
The developments are expected to be online by the end of next year. Gamesa will also provide operations and maintenance services at the projects for a period of ten years.
This is the second turbine supply deal between the two companies, with Gamesa agreeing last year to install the turbines on a 25.5MW wind farm in the Viotia region in the south of Greece. The manufacturer has installed nearly 180MW of its turbines in Greece to date.
