Siemens will supply 180MW of 2.3-101 turbines for Samsung and Pattern's Armow Wind project.
Armow Wind is located near the shore of Lake Huron in southern Canada. It was acquired by Samsung and US developer Pattern in 2011.
Siemens' second order is for 2.3-113 turbines to be delivered to the 100MW (nameplate capacity) Cedar Point II site being developed by local producer Suncor Energy.
It will be built near Sarnia, on the border between Canada and the US, 100 kilometres north of Detroit, US.
The 411 blades for both projects will be manufactured at Siemens' Tillsonburg facility in Ontario. Both projects are due to be commissioned in 2015.
