The project, located 70 kilometres from the coast, is made up of 80 Siemens 3.6MW turbines.

While the turbines are all in place, the project is yet to be fully commissioned as it awaits the completion of its transmission system.

The development was originally planned to come online in the summer, but delays relating to the foundation installation pushed it back to late 2014.
