The manufacturer developed and built the project, which comprises 37 G80-2MW turbines, and which has been in operation since the first quarter of 2014.
As part of the sale, Gamesa will continue to operate and maintain the wind farm for five years.
Gamesa has a history of developing and selling projects on. In May 2013, it sold a 70MW project it was developing, also in the state of Oaxaca, to Iberdrola.
These deals are part of Gamesa's strategy to step back from project ownership and investment, focusing instead on being a key technology partner, navigating a wind farm's development. This includes site identification, wind resource measurement, permitting, construction, turbine supply and maintenance services.
The firm said it has developed, built and commissioned over 244MW in Mexico with a further 70MW in the pipeline.
