Nordex wins 27.5MW deal in France

FRANCE: Nordex has been awarded a deal by asset fund manager Leonidas Associatess to supply 27.5MW to a project in northern France.

Nordex will deliver 11 N100/2500 turbines to the project in France

Nordex will deliver 11 N100/2500 turbines to the Haut Plateau Picard project, due to be commissioned in October 2015.

In a statement, Nordex said the development's connected output has been kept to 25.3MW. The company was unable to give further details abut the limitation.

Haut Plateau Picard's developer is Volkswind France, a subsidiary of the German independent power producer Volkswind. Nordex has already worked with the company supplying turbines for a project in Germany.

In March, Nordex said it would use its N100/2500 turbine at the 75MW Seine Rive Gauche Nord project in northern France.
