Developer RES ordered the turbines from Nordex in March for use at the 10MW Woolley Hill project in Cambridgeshire and the 15MW Jack's Lane project in Norfolk.

Delivery of four N100/2500 turbines at Woolley Hill and six N90/2500 Jack's Hill began in early October.

The hubs, towers, nacelles and blades are being shipped to Immingham Docks in northeast England and then transferred by escorted convoy to the sites.

Both projects are due to be completed in the first half of next year.
