Nordex wins 28.8MW deal

GERMANY: Nordex has received an order from local private equity firm Fronteris Group to supply 28.8MW in capacity for two projects in Hof, southern Germany.

Nordex will deliver 12 N117/2400 turbines to the two projects in southern Germany

Nordex will deliver 12 N117/2400 turbines to the Hohenzellig and Bucheck projects. They are being developed by Primus Energie, a subsidiary of the Fronteris Group. It is the first order Nordex has received from the company.

The turbines will be installed on 141-metre hybrid towers, Nordex said. Completion of the project is expected next year.

As part of the deal, Nordex will service the turbines for 15 years and set up a service station near the projects.

In September, the manufacturer received an order from PNE Wind to supply 24 of the 2.4MW turbines to a 57.6MW project in northeast Germany
