Acciona will deliver 50 AW116/3000 turbines for the first 150MW phase of the Green Pastures development in Baylor and Knox counties in northern Texas.
The announcement was made following Capital Dynamics' completion of financing for the project with partner Prudential Capital Group.
Commissioning of phase one is expected next year and the firm will also service the turbines for 10 year. The second phase is due to come online in 2016 using a further 50 AW116/3000 turbines.
