A spokesperson for the German manufacturer said the company was "in dialogue" with the developer but was unable to give further details.
The developer said it was negotiating with "a group of suppliers" including Siemens and expects to sign a contract with a manufacturer "within three months".
If a deal is agreed, Siemens is expected to produce 20 4MW turbines for the project, located 4 kilometres off the east coast of Denmark.
The turbines are expected to be installed in two blocks of ten and is due online in 2017.
Danish officials approved the feasibility studies for the project in August. The project is still looking to gain a settlement permit from the Danish Energy Agency.
Siemens' 4MW unit has been contracted to be used at the 600MW Gemini project in the Netherlands. The prototype of the turbine was tested at a site in northern Denmark in 2012.
