The French firm will manufacture and install the turbines starting next Spring. The units will be built at Alstom's Spanish facilities.
The 24MW project is located in Siikajoki on the west coast of the Scandinavian country.
Alstom said it will use cold climate version turbines to help deal with the Finnish climate. The company has already delivered ECO 110 3MW turbines at the 21MW Muukko project, southern Finland.
The Muukko project is also being used as a test site to help Alstom, and its partner Lappeenranta University of Technology, to develop turbines suited to arctic weather.
Research is focusing on the development of ice sensors and methods for clearing build ups of ice on blades and components.
