The Danish manufacturer will supply and install 24 V90-3.0MW turbines and eight V80-2.0MW turbines for the, as yet, unnamed project.
The deal also includes the option for a further two V90s and another V80 machine. A servicing deal has yet to be agreed between the two companies.
This deal comes under the framework signed by the French utility and Vestas in 2011, where EDF will order a minimum of 50% of its turbines in the US and 30% of its turbines in Europe from Vestas. That deal runs to the end of 2014.
In April, Vestas agreed to supply 195MW of V100-2MW turbines to EDF for projects in Texas.
