The manufacturer will supply 10 V117-3.3MW turbines for the Ulvemosen project in the Varde municipality. The project is being developed by European Energy.

Delivery and installation of the turbines is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of the year. The deal includes a 15-year operations and maintenance agreement.

The project will be owned and financed by Danish pension fund Sampension. Ulvemosen will be the company's first investment in a wind project. The project will also be operated by European Energy.

European Energy and Vestas have previously worked together on a number of projects in Denmark and in other European countries.

The V117 turbine is designed for sites with medium to low wind speeds with high turbulence.
