In a statement, Vestas confirmed Eichler and four others had left the company but was unable to give a reason for their departure.
Eichler had been with the company for 18 years, having joined in 1996.
A Vestas spokesman said: "Vestas considers this a matter between the company and the affected employees and therefore we do not have any further comments."
In December, Klaus Steen Mortensen, who headed the northern business unit, stepped in as acting president for Vestas central Europe, replacing former Nordex CEO Thomas Ritterich.
