Three contract wins mean 27MW for Senvion

GERMANY: Senvion has won separate contracts to supply three wind farms with a combined capacity of 26.6MW.

The German manufacturer (formerly Repower) will install turbines at the Laarakkerdijk wind farm in Brabant, Netherlands, Windpark Zierikzee in Zeeland in the Netherlands and the Rågåkra wind farm located in southern Sweden.

Eneco Wind is developing the Laarakkerdijk project, which will consist of five MM100 2.5MW turbines with a total rated output of 10MW. Construction is due to start in November and is scheduled for completion in early 2015.

Windpark Zierikzee will consist of three M104 3.4MW turbines and is a community-owned project. Construction should start in August, with commissioning expected at the end of 2014.

The Rågåkra wind farm is being developed by Bjäre Kraft Energi and will consist of two M114 3.2MW turbines. Work at the project will start in July and is due to be completed in October 2014.
