Siemens SWT-6.0-154 turbines will be installed at the site, which lies 45 kilometres off the German coast near the island of Juist.
A2Sea will start work at the beginning of 2015 deploying offshore installation vessel Sea Installer on the 330MW Gode Wind 1 and the 252MW Gode Wind 2 projects.
The Danish company was acquired by Dong Energy (51%) and Siemens Wind Power (49%) in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
A2Sea CEO Jens Frederik Hansen said: "It is no secret that there are only a few offshore wind projects until we expect a slight increase in projects from 2017.
"Naturally we are interested in keeping our vessels deployed continuously to keep costs down and be able to contribute to the industry goals to reduce the cost of energy."
Dong Energy is investing DKK 16.4 billion (EUR 2.2 billion) in the Gode Wind project, which Trine Borum Bojsen, Dong’s managing director in Germany said is the company’s biggest investment ever.
Gode Wind 1 and 2 are due to be commissioned in the second half of 2016.
