Avalon will maintain the turbines for five years, with the contract for the initial two turbines starting before the end of December. The further five machines will be taken over in March 2014.
An availability guarantee of 97% is included in the deal, which covers wear parts package occurring twice each year, remote monitoring, oil change and unscheduled maintenance.
The repair or replacement of individual wind turbine components is also included in the contract.
