The manufacturer will supply five N100/2500 and three N90/2500 turbines at the Woodhouse project in County Waterford, in the south east of the country.
The site is characterised by winds that vary between strong and medium. Nordex said the different turbines would be located to make the most of the different wind speeds.
Construction is set to start in the third quarter of 2014. The contract also includes a five-year service agreement.
ESB and Nordex have already worked together on four wind farms across Ireland, with a total capacity of 67.5MW.
