The projects are the Maojing wind farm in Qingyang city, Gansu province, and the first and second phase of the Wangpanshan project in Yulin, Shaanxi province.
CSR is to supply 200 WT2000/110 and 66 WT1500/93 wind turbines. The deal is worth CNY 2 billion ($328.6 million), the biggest ever order for CSR .
The bid-winning WT2000 wind turbine is CSR's latest model for low wind locations. The WT1500 turbine is a more mature model and has been installed in high-altitude areas like Yunnan province and Guizhou province in south China.
