Vessels MPI Napoleon and MPI Snowball are currently under construction at SEAS, which is part of the Piriou Group, headquartered in France.

They are scheduled to join MPI Workboats, which is based in North Yorkshire, England, in February 2014 to service wind sites in the North and Baltic Seas.

The vessels, designed by marine engineering consultancy BMT Nigel Gee, are made out of aluminium and 21.85 metres long.

They are equipped with two engines and can reach speeds of up to 25 knots. Up to 12 passengers, three crew and two 10-foot containers can be transported by the vessels.
