The manufacturer is expected to install 147 of its 1.7-100 turbines at the Golden West Power Partners wind project in eastern El Paso County if the plant is given construction consent.
Golden West submitted an initial construction application earlier this month and a public consultation will be held on 19 December. If everything goes as planned, the company expects construction to begin in mid 2014, with commercial operations scheduled to commence in June 2015.
Electricity generated from the wind farm will be sold to Xcel Energy. Golden West bought the development right for this project from Clipper Windpower Development in February 2013.
