Nordex makes three German deals worth 36.8MW

GERMANY: Nordex has sold turbines with a capacity of 36.8MW for the use on three wind projects in Germany.

The N117/2.4MW turbines are suited to Bavaria's low wind speeds
The manufacturer said that the orders for the machines were placed by three different companies in October.

Developer, Enertrag, will use eight of the company's N100/2.5MW moderate-wind turbine on the Ottelin wind farm in the northern German state of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania.

Seven of the low-wind N117/2.4MW model will go to two wind farms in Massbach-Volkershausen and Insingen in Bavaria, which are being partly funded through citizen participation models.

Installation of all the turbines is expected in summer 2014.
