The 53 direct-drive turbines, which are modified versions from Siemens' 3MW platform, will be used on onshore plants in Mugla in the south west of the country, and Edirne-Tekirdag and Kirklareli in the north west.
The contract includes delivery of the turbines and a five-year service agreement once the projects go online. Completion is expected between late 2014 and summer 2015.
In March, Siemens won a deal to supply a Guris subsidiary with 50MW of turbines for the Dinar wind project in south western Turkey.
The country has an ambitious plan to push its installed wind up to 20GW by 2023, which will require a ten-fold increase on its capacity as of March this year. The country is expected to add 800-1000MW this year.
