The turbine, which has a 60Hz rating has been specifically designed for use in the country. It will initially be sold with a hub height of just 100 metres compared with the four variants of up to 143 metres on the standard model.
Repower will launch the machine at this week's CanWEA trade fair. The European version was launched in 2012, at Husum.
Ontario will be the main market for the turbine, the manufacturer said, with the machine well suited to the specific needs of the province.
Repower chief executive Andreas Nauen said: "Particularly in Ontario, many wind farm locations are situated near to built-up areas. For projects like these, apart from the cost-effectiveness of our turbines, it is also their quietness that makes them so impressive."
The company has previously said that it will collaborate with local partners on the construction of turbine components for use in Ontario.
